Two Moons Thermal Imaging Services was established in 2009 as a provider of thermal imaging services for the Northern Lower Michigan area. Using advanced infrared technology, the company specializes in identifying a wide range of problems that may not be visible to the naked eye, including: water intrusion, moisture and mold problems, energy loss, air infiltration, missing or damaged insulation, and electrical overheating.
Additionally, we are in partnership with Russo Engineering who provides engineering expertise and support services to compliment our knowledge base and range of services that we offer.
Since the technology is advanced and there are so many elements to take into consideration when performing these inspections, it's best to have them done by a trained professional.
Tom Mooney is a Level I Thermographer, certified to perform thermographic inspections, interpret results, and generate reports. He is a IICRC certified technician in odor control, water restoration and is certified in Applied Structural Drying (ASD) and Fire & Smoke Restoration. He also holds a State of Michigan Department of Environmental Quality Storm Water Management certification. Tom is a long time developer and builder in the Tawas area with considerable experience in the building construction industry. Additionally, Tom has been around the marine industry all his life, is a former commercial fisherman and registered U.S. S.C.U.B.A. Diver. He has operated a successful marine design and construction business since 1983.
Since the inception of Two Moons Thermal Imaging Services, we have strived to completely satisfy our customer.
